INDICATOR LABEL MONITORS TIPPING WHILE SHIPPING

news for immediate release from aimarket

This label indicator attached to the outside of a shipped package works together with an optional high visibility companion label to warn handlers that the contents should be kept in the upright position.  Indicator will show bright red if excessive tipping has occurred.  TILTWATCH™ products from Shockwatch® may be applied in the same fashion as any other ‘peel and stick’, pressure sensitive labels. A thick, acrylic adhesive assures strong bonding to a wide range of surfaces including rough wood crating.  The indicator labels are automatically armed as they are installed, activated if shipments are tilted 80°(± 5°) and leave telltale evidence if tampering is attempted.  They may not be rearmed or reset.

The combined presence of TILTWATCH™ indicator labels (approx.3" x 2" x 1/2") on a shipment with the companion warning labels (5" x 8") will serve to lower the incidence of rough handling as well as providing documented proof for damage claims when required.  Every TILTWATCH™ unit includes a small alert sticker to be placed on the bill-of-lading as a reminder of monitoring.  Units are moisture-proof and safe for ocean shipments with varying humidity conditions.

Shockwatch® is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, where they innovate, manufacture and market one of the industrial world's broadest selections of products dedicated to prevent handling and shipping damage. Product distribution is worldwide through a national sales force and a network of strategic partners and resellers.
