I'm sorry I ever spent a dime on trade shows. In retrospect, the shows generated almost no business and ate up huge amounts of time and money.
Our advertising dollars were wasted money, too. Even though we placed the ads in narrowly focused trade journals aimed at people I knew had a use for my product, no one paid any attention.
Your press release, however, has been bringing in lots of solid leads. Many leads are from industries I could never hope to reach any other way. And this one press release is opening up new markets we didn't even know of! Since that was one of my primary goals, I'm very happy.
I'm looking forward to doing another release. The next one will be an article detailing how my product has solved a difficult problem in the waste management field (it's one of those new applications we just discovered).
