AER Control Systems is introducing two new modular dust control models: Power Booth Module PBM-4 has four vertically oriented cartridge filters rated at 98% efficiency, PBM-6 has six cartridge filters.  Both models are designed to provide efficient and yet cost-effective control of heavy dust and fumes generated from manufacturing activities such as: Stone or metal cutting, polishing, sanding, grinding, welding and other harsh processes.

The new Power Booths from AER Control Systems were designed for control of heavy concentrations of dry contaminants. The PBM Series dust collection units meet or exceed OSHA requirements and include pulse jet filter cleaning which may be triggered by manual push button or optional automatic timer control. Dust from the filters drops into removable drawers. A Magnehelic gauge (standard on all units) indicates to the operator when the filters need to be cleaned or replaced.

Easy “building block” assembly of  Power Booth modules is possible with side-by-side arrangement of either 4 or 6 filter units to create total booth size ranging from 96” wide to 230” wide with airflow capacity from 3,200 to 26,000CFM. Optional sizes are available to suit nearly every customer requirement.  Modules are constructed of 11 and 14gauge steel with a textured, powder coated finish. Air flow to suit customer application requirements is generated by a choice of three different backward inclined airfoil blowers directly driven by a 5, 7.5 or 10 HP electric motor.

Overall filtration is possible (with options) in three stages:  1.) Metallic mesh spark arrestor. 2.) The main cartidge filters  3.) HEPA after-filter to enhance clean air return thus saving heating and cooling efficiency.  Quiet operation is achieved by acoustical lining inside the blower housing.  A variety of air inlet choices is made possible by optional positions of the hinged side doors, thus creating a funnel for air entering the unit.
