SHIPMENTS ARE SAFER WITH IMPACT SENSING AND WARNING SYSTEM
news for immediate release from aimarket
An improved impact monitor for large palletized or containerized shipments is being introduced by Shockwatch®. MAG 2000 is the name of the device which may be directly mounted on the shipment or on the carrier vehicle itself. In either location it may serve as the centerpiece of a complete shipping damage prevention program. MAG 2000 can reduce in-house and in-transit damage losses by pinpointing the source of mishandling. They are ideal for closed loop product transportion, shipping and handling systems
MAG 2000 impact monitors are reusable (resettable with a special key / special tamperproof accessory is available) and are available in the range of 1/2 to 25 G's, in 1/2 increments. An activated indicator will allow determination of G level that was exceeded and the direction of impact in the same plane that the device is mounted. The monitors are housed in a tamper resistant , weatherproof, high impact ABS and acrylic case. They will operate in the temperature range from -40°F to +150°F at humidity from 0% to 100%. Mounting brackets are available for multiple sensors or interchanging G sensitivities depending on cargo weight and shipping conditions.
Shockwatch® is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, where they innovate, manufacture and market one of the industrial world's broadest selections of products dedicated to prevent handling and shipping damage.
