A new film laminate combines clear transparency for visibility of protected contents with low MVTR (“Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate”). Compos-a-vac® 40 (CAV-40) is the name of the new 3.2 mil thickness material from ITW Richmond Technology that also features:
q High clarity and moisture barrier combined in clear film
q High puncture and tear resistance, good sealability
q Outer layer displays printed graphics well for marketability or identification
q Product possesses high slip and flexibility for packaging machinery adaptability
q Easy conformation to vacuum packaged content contours
q Inner sealant layer ensures high cleanliness characteristics
q Adapts well for disc media and sputter targets
q Bags vary in size (inside dimensions from 3”wide by 5”deep to 36”wide by 24”deep

Material is available in pre-made bags or in bulk form for
conversion by others
